“Our guide, "H", is the owner of the tour and is extremely knowledgeable. He grew up in Moorea but has travelled extensively. He was actually the chef for the 2024 USA Olympic Surfing team! There were about 13 different tastings that gave a broad range of different flavors and types of food. We try and do a food tour wherever we go. Learning about the culture and history of each location is half the fun. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to learn about Moorea and the small shops and restaurants on the island and to be able to taste such amazing food.”

“I can’t say enough GREAT things about Orama and this tour! We literally loved everything we tried! Fish beignets, poisson cru (marinated raw fish), fish burgers, coconut treats, banana crepes…..so yummy!! We went into places that we would have never ventured into on our own and it was AMAZING! Orama is very knowledgeable, professional, kind and sweet. The walk around town and the market were very casual and not hard at all. I highly recommend this tour! It’s a must-try for any visitor to Tahiti. It was one of our favorite memories from our vacation.”

“The tour started with coffee and local poke style raw fish in coconut milk along with taro and other local treats. Then off to Lucky Luke where we got to try the Beignet De Poisson, which for an Australian, was like a potato scallop/cake/fritter but made with fish. This was definitely a must try. We then toured the market and spent some time checking out the various cuisines that have become part of the Tahitian culture. We also tried the mango with the red powder which really doesn't like to come off, so bring wipes and don't wear white! The burger from Vini Vini was a highlight, tastes of all…”
